Current Catering is a full service catering company based in Savannah Ga. We service Coastal Georgia & South Carolina. We pride ourselves on creating custom menus that truly represent each client, the season and your vision, through fabulous food and thoughtful presentation.
Our Chef and Co-Owner Matt Hankey was classically trained at Johnson & Wales in Charleston – he has over 20 years experience working as a line cook in small restaurants to being the executive chef feeding 450 a night and most notably being the sous chef of Savannah’s first 4 diamond restaurant. He has even dabbled in selling produce and local meats giving him a unique understanding of local farmers, season and the supply chain we rely on.
Our Front Of House Specialist (Me) Katherine Hankey attended SCAD and has a degree in Industrial Design. Always paying particular attention to the overall design of an event from the platters to the silverware. Helping to coordinate the details with the client (planner) and the staff to help make sure every detail has been considered for the big day.
